Daniel Bregaglio, Special Project Assistant
Daniel has been working as COR's Research and Technical Professional since September of 2007. He provides COR with excellent technical assistance and web page support. He has researched numerous copyright permissions, shoveled lots of gravel, and washed a mountain of dishes. Daniel enjoys playing with his dog and wrestling polar bears in the artic. He is currently a student at Gonzaga University and hopes to graduate sometime in the near future (5 years or less). Prior to joining COR, Daniel spent five years in the Army where he was stationed in Korea and Italy. Carl Green, Ph.D., Director, Institute for Congregational Leadership
With B.A.s from Northwest Nazarene University and Whitworth University (in organizational management), an M.Div. from Nazarene Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in leadership studies from Gonzaga University, Carl is a lecturer at Whitworth and also the director of the Center for Organizational Reform’s (COR) Institute for Congregational Leadership (ICL), a non-profit organization that seeks to strengthen congregational health, resilience, and effectiveness. He previously occupied a conference level administrative position in his denomination for 12 years, preceded by 21 years of pastoral ministry. Enjoyments include walking, music (which includes playing the trombone), reading, golfing (though he doesn’t really play that often), and travel.
Carole Freehan, Ph.D., Director, Institute for Congregational Leadership
In a previous life, Carole taught in the public school system in Hawaii and retired from the system after being a school administrator for 15 years, 11.5 of them as a school principal. When she left Hawaii, Carole and her husband relocated in Spokane, Washington to be close to their 2 daughters and rediscover the four seasons. In this current life, Carole is an adjunct professor for both Gonzaga University, Masters in Education program, and Argosy University-Hawaii Doctorate in Education program. As the director for Education at COR, Carole is intricately involved with providing the classes for COR’s certification program and the Leadership Institute.
Bill Stanaway, Director, Clare Center
Bill is a facility manager for Clare Center. He is a native of Montana born and educated in the Big Sky Country. He received his BA in Biology from Carroll College and his Master of Science from Notre Dame. His work in education involved teaching biology, chemistry, theology, and adult education classes. He has been a high school principal, adult education director, and on the staff of Carroll College. He became involved with COR through the Leadership Developing Community program. He has taught classes for the TARP program for COR and has been a team member for two Leadership Developing Community groups. His involvement on the Clare Center Board helped COR move to lease the facility from the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration. Currently, he schedules the use of the facility and does work to keep the Clare Center ready for clients to experience the peace offered by the surroundings.
Dodi Jewell, Administrative Assistant
Being retired from mortgage industry after 38 years, Dodi decided to work in new areas that give assistance to others such as COR and Kairoa Prison Ministry. Dodi has also decided to go back to school which offers her opportunities for change and growth. Working for COR gives Dodi a feeling of being able to particiapte with a group which offers "Hope, Health and Growth" plus a chance to learn from COR’s wonderful people. Dodi has three grown sons with strong families and her six grandchildren are central to her life. Hanging out with good people and sharing life in general are the things that she really holds dear.
