Terry Young, Ph.D., Board President
Terry has been involved in non-profit leadership for 28 years. His Ph.D. research was in Holding Environments for Leaders. Presently, Terry leads the staff of a church congregation in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He is an Adjunct Professor of Leadership at Ambrose University in Calgary. Terry is married to Deb and has two wonderful sons and a cat. He became a proud grandfather on March 15, 2008. Terry loves to read and golf!!  He has been a COR Associate since COR’s inception and also serves on the COR Board.

Al Fein, Ph.D., Board Secretary
Al was born in Seattle, Washington May 9, 1946. After graduating from the University of Washington, Al began a 30-year career in the K-12 system in Washington State, serving in the Edmonds, Snohomish, Monroe, and Spokane School Districts. After retiring from the K-12 system in Washington, Al began to work in higher education.  He is currently an Associate Professor at Gonzaga University in the School of Education. Al married Nancy Isaacson in 1996. Nancy and Al share three daughters: Sara, Risa, Amy and two grandchildren: Samson and Sheil.  Al enjoys playing bridge, doing crossword puzzles, and likes to read.  He has been a COR Associate since COR’s inception and also serves on the COR Board.

Linda Shrope, Board Treasurer
Linda graduated in1998 from Eastern Washington University with a BA in Business Administration, Professional Accounting.  In 1999, Linda completed all requirements and became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Washington. She is currently employed as a staff accountant with Schoedel and Schoedel, CPAs, in Spokane.  This year Linda will be busy as the Chair of the Washington Society of CPAs, Spokane Chapter.  Married for 39 wonderful years to Steve a civil/structural engineer, she has 2 grown children and three grandsons who are the delight of her life.

John Dacquisto, Board Finance Officer
John is a Senior Lecturer and the Director of the Center for Engineering Design in the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Gonzaga University. Prior to becoming a full time professor, John devoted a primary segment of his engineering career to the metals industry where he held technical and operations management positions. Additionally, he has conducted seminar-based training programs in project management, engineering economics, contracts, and ethics to manufacturers in mainland China and to the utility industry in the Caribbean Islands. John and his wife, Judey, have three daughters and two sons and nine grandchildren.

Eric Peterson, Board Member
Following his formal education at Whitworth College, and Princeton Theological Seminary, interspersed with two years as a carpenter, Eric was ordained in 1990 as a Minister of Word and Sacrament. He is the founding pastor of Colbert Presbyterian Church (www.colbertpres.org), is married to Lynn, and they have three great kids. The photograph was taken in the summer of 2008 on the summit of Mt. Jackson in Glacier National Park. Jackson was the first mountain Eric ever climbed with his brother, and they did it again together 30 years later.

Scott Collins, Board Member
Scott graduated from Eastern Washington University in 1990 with a BA in History and from Gonzaga University in 1996 with an MA in Organizational Leadership. He is currently working towards completion of his PhD in Leadership Studies at Gonzaga. Scott is Vice President for Oldcastle Materials Northwest Group where he oversees the Prestress Division, Human Resources, Environmental, Safety and Legal. He and his wife Kelli have six children.
