ICL sponsors frequent workshops to help participants build skills and secure practical tools to aid their congregations in a number of ways. These are designed to be relevant to many congregational leaders, both clergy and Lay. Workshops are:
- Compact in terms of time: workshops offer the ability to “get into” a topic, learn what research says, and hear ideas from others
- Enough “removed” to allow perspective: offered locally (15-minutes from downtown Spokane, but “away” enough to provide a serene setting to “make the world go away”
- Offers an optional retreat setting for overnight stays for additional renewal for busy leaders
- Provides a compact summer option in four workshops during one week in July.
